Today, Wednesday, March 6, we had early morning concert band and after school grades 8&9 band. Students worked well in both rehearsals today. A better turn out for rehearsal. A reminder to take your instruments home. It is great to see students take them home to practice, as their ability to learn new skills in band rehearsal is improving. The students who attend the grade 8&9 after school rehearsal on Wednesdays are showing real improvement in their skill development with the three musical selections: Portrait of a Clown, Linden Lea, and Brighton Beach.
Tomorrow, Thursday, March 7 is an early morning jazz band.
Friday, March 8 – there is no senior band class for grades 10-12 as it is a P.D. Day – Parent/Teacher interview sessions.
